On Ted talks I watched a videp called "Looking Past Limits" by Caroline Casey. Caroline is legally blind, though her parents choose to keep that a secret from her. Caroline found out she was blind when she was 17 and learned the power of belief. Through her struggles with being visually impaired she learned you don't need eyes to see, rather a vision.
